TV Land has added Elliott Gould and Missi Pyle (The Artist) to the cast of I’m Not Dead, a new single-camera comedy series set to shoot next month. Gould and Pyle will be joining Ben Falcone in the show which finds Falcone playing a driving instructor “who, after learning he has a potentially fatal heart condition, decides to start speaking his mind and grab life by the horns. This personality change is greeted by shock and skepticism from his wife (Pyle), father (Gould) and children.”

The network’s other pilot, Brothers-in-Law, will begin filming in the coming weeks and is set to star Jay Mohr (Last Comic Standing), Josh Cooke, Ellen Woglom, Geoff Pierson and Kelen Coleman. According to TV Land, Brothers-in-Law “focuses on the family dynamic between Neil (Cooke) and his wife Cheska (Coleman) as they adjust to Van (Mohr), the eccentric fiancé of Cheska’s twin sister Maddie (Woglom). Pierson stars as Tom, the family patriarch, whose instant bond with Van makes Neil jealous and annoyed. On top of that, the sisters constantly encourage Neil and Van to form a friendship, even though the men have absolutely nothing in common.”

Commenting on the casting of the upcoming pilots, Keith Cox, Executive Vice President, Development and Original Programming for TV Land, stated: “We’re so thrilled by the caliber of actors we are working with for our upcoming pilots. As production begins, we can’t wait for our gifted talent on-and-off camera to work their magic.”
