‘Versace: American Crime Story’ Adds Ricky Martin

Actor/singer Ricky Martin has signed on to the cast of FX’s Versace: American Crime Story. Martin will be playing Antonio D’Amico, the partner of murdered fashion designer Gianni Versace, in the third season of American Crime Story. He joins a cast that includes Penelope Cruz as Donatella Versace, Darren Criss as serial killer Andrew Cunanan, and Edgar Ramirez as Gianni Versace.


Season one focused on the O.J. Simpson murder trial and the upcoming second season details events surrounding the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina. Ryan Murphy, Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson executive produce the series, with season three set to begin shooting this month. FX is targeting a 2018 premiere of Versace: American Crime Story.

Martin’s acting credits include guest appearances on Glee, as well as appearing on stage in Les Miserables and Evita.
