‘Vice Principals’ Season 2 Snags a September Premiere Date

HBO just announced the premiere date for season two of Vice Principals starring Danny McBride (Eastbound & Down) and Walton Goggins (Sons of Anarchy, Justified). The half-hour adult comedy will kick off season two on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 10:30pm ET/PT. HBO’s confirmed the second season will be the show’s final season and will consist of nine new episodes.

Vice Principals was created by Danny McBride and Jody Hill. David Gordon Green directs the series and McBride, Hill, Green, Jonathan Watson, and Stephanie Laing executive produce. McBride and Goggins lead a cast that includes Kimberly Hebert Gregory, Georgia King, Busy Phillips, Shea Whigham, and Sheaun McKinney.

The Vice Principals Season 2 Plot: The tumultuous school year at North Jackson High continues and a new semester brings lots of changes. Gamby and Russell are about to learn that the only thing harder than gaining power is holding on to it, as the darkest comedy on television returns to finish what was started.
