Winning Songs Announced for the We Made This Movie Soundtrack

We Made This MovieRed Bull Soundstage and Worldwide Pants have chosen four winners who’ll be featured on the soundtrack to We Made This Movie, an independent film directed by Rob Burnett (the CEO of Worldwide Pants). The artists were chosen after musicians were asked to submit songs to accompany four pivotal scenes, with online audiences voting on the entries.

The top 24 songs will be included in an ‘Audience Choice’ contest with the winner getting the opportunity to perform on the Late Show with David Letterman in September. Beginning July 18th and running through August 7th, fans can go the Red Bull Soundstage website to vote for their favorite.

We Made This Movie will premiere online on September 20th followed by a Video on Demand and Digital release.

“Going in, we crossed our fingers and hoped we’d get four usable songs for our movie. Very early in the listening process, however, panic set in — the good kind. The quality of the music submitted by Red Bull Soundstage artists created an embarrassment of riches. We listened to nearly 1,200 songs and all we could ask was, ‘How many of these can we fit in the film?’” explained Burnett. “We’re thrilled to be able to expose these emerging artists to a wider audience, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say the thing that matters most: Red Bull Soundstage made our film better. Much, much better.”

And the four winners are:

· “Daylight” by Philadelphia-based singer/songwriter Christian Bitto accompanies the scene Run to the Chicken Plant.
· “Save Me” by Of Gentleman and Cowards , a four-piece pop rock band from Ontario, Canada will accompany the scene Funeral Drive.
· “Like A Star” by Miami-based songbird Laura Ault will set the mood for the scene LeBron Walks Kelly Home.
· The sounds of “Confession” by Los Angeles band D’Artagnan will be set to the scene Everyone Quits .

The Plot:
