Tribeca Picks Up ‘What Richard Did’ Starring Jack Reynor

The Irish Film & Television Awards’ big winner What Richard Did has been acquired by Tribeca Film. The movie picked up the Best Film, Best Director, Best Script, Best Actor and Best Editing at the awards and North America will be able to see what all the fuss is about when Tribeca brings it to theaters/on-demand platforms this spring.

Lenny Abrahamson (Adam & Paul) directed the film which stars Jack Reynor, Roisin Murphy, Sam Keeley, and Lars Mikkelsen. What Richard Did is based on the book Bad Day in Blackrock by Kevin Powers and was adapted for the screen by Malcolm Campbell (Skins, Shameless).

The What Richard Did Plot:

The world is bright and everything seems possible for Richard Karlsen, the golden boy of his privileged set of Dublin teens, until he does something that destroys it all and shatters the lives of the people closest to him.
