Per the charitable organization, the The Wounded in Action Family Foundation “was established to help wounded veterans return to their homes and civilian life. The organization realized a need for wounded veterans and their families, especially those who have been at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and are returning home. When WIAFF learned of the need of soldiers leaving Walter Reed, the organization sprang into action enlisting building partners and making all of the necessary physical changes to a local veteran’s home. The organization also established a vehicle partner to assist in providing the family transportation that is also handicap friendly. Assistance has included locating counseling and assisting with employment.”
The concert will feature American Tenor Antonio Giuliano singing the national anthem and Lee Greenwood, Billy Dean, Collin Raye, Tracy Lawrence and other famous guests as part of a music video montage that pays tribute to the troops.
