In addition to announcing the upcoming start of production on season five of Homeland, Showtime also revealed the fifth season will take place two years after the events of season four. Season five will shoot this summer in Berlin at Studio Babelsberg with Claire Danes back in the lead as Carrie Mathison. Showtime’s aiming for a fall premiere of the 12 episode fifth season.

Per Showtime: “Season five will pick-up two years after Carrie Mathison’s ill-fated tenure as Islamabad station chief. Struggling to reconcile her guilt and disillusionment with years of working on the front lines in the ‘war on terror,’ Carrie finds herself in a self-imposed exile in Berlin, estranged from the CIA and working for a private security firm.”

Homeland is based on the Israeli series Prisoners of War by Gideon Raff. Season five executive producers are Raff, Alex Gansa, Howard Gordon, Alexander Cary, Chip Johannessen, Meredith Stiehm, Patrick Harbinson, Lesli Linka Glatter, Avi Nir, and Ran Telem.

‘Ted 2’ Debuts Restricted Trailer and Weird Poster

Ted 2 Red Band Trailer and Poster

Is it just me or does Mark Wahlberg look a little too Photoshopped on this new poster for Ted 2? Ted the bear looks more like a living being than Wahlberg, and that probably wasn’t the intention. The R-rated sequel to the tale of a trash-talking stuffed bear and his BFF hits theaters on June 26, 2015 and today Universal’s released a new red band (definitely not safe for work or kids – or anyone offended by bad language) trailer along with the poster featured above.

Seth MacFarlane provides the voice of Ted and wrote/directed the original film as well as this sequel. In addition to MacFarlane and Wahlberg, Ted 2‘s cast includes Amanda Seyfried, Giovanni Ribisi, John Slattery and Morgan Freeman.

FX has greenlit a road trip comedy set to star Jenny Slate and Ari Graynor. Filming’s expected to begin tomorrow on the pilot from Gillian Robespierre and Elisabeth Holm, with Robespierre directing. Robespierre also co-wrote the pilot with Holm and both are involved as executive producers.

Slate starred in Robespierre and Holm’s feature film Obvious Child which earned her the Best Actress in a Comedy Movie from the Broadcast Film Critics Association. The film also picked up Independent Spirit Awards and Alliance of Women Film Journalists nominations.

Slate is also one of the stars of FX’s Married which will air season two beginning on July 16th.

The Plot:

The pilot is an honest comedy exploring the adult female friendship of two creative partners as they embark on a cross-country road trip. Jenny Slate and Ari Graynor (For a Good Time, Call…,Bad Teacher) star as “Lou” and “Viv,” two gutsy born and raised New Yorkers who discover each other in their 30s, make a movie together, and jump into the great unknown of their next project. Lou and Viv find strength and vulnerability in each other, learning how to have a fight and somehow still get back in the car. It’s like Thelma and Louise — but nobody dies.
