New Trailer for ‘The Walking Dead’ Season 4 Episode 1

The hit series The Walking Dead kicks off season four with an episode titled “30 Days Without An Accident” on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at 9pm. The season on AMC’s hit zombie series finds Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his group of survivors still at the prison but with ‘walkers’ constantly threatening to break in.

The Plot of “30 Days Without An Accident:” Rick and the group are as close to an ideal life as possible at the prison. Will they be able to hold on to humanity in the face of a new evil?

My Corgi, Sookie, is used to having a camera aimed her direction and she’s even gotten used to being the guinea pig for new apps (check out her pose with Gollum here or what happened when I used the Walking Dead zombie app on her). And when 20th Century Fox and BBC Worldwide sent out info on their new Walking with Dinosaurs app, it was only a matter of seconds before I’d snapped a photo of her next to a dinosaur.

Getting the dinosaur to go where you want it to in a photo does take a little bit of finesse. However, a few minutes of practice time is all it should take to get the hang of it.

The Walking with Dinosaurs: Photo Adventure app works with iPhones, iPads, iPod Touch, and Android devices and is free to download from iTunes and Google Play. The Photo Adventure allows users to insert a dinosaur from the film in photos in “lifelike detail” using the technology employed in the movie.

Hallmark Wants More of ‘Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove’

Hallmark Channel is so happy with their first primetime series that they’ve renewed Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove for a second season. The network also confirmed Andie MacDowell, Dylan Neal, Teryl Rothery, Bruce Boxleitner, and Barbara Niven will return for the second season which is set to shoot in Vancouver in 2014.

According to Hallmark Channel, Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove has made the network #1 among cable networks on Saturday nights from 8-9pm.

The Plot:

Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove is based on the popular book series Cedar Cove by New York Times bestselling author Debbie Macomber. The series immerses its audiences into the majestic and inimitable world of Cedar Cove, a small town with a big heart. In Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove, the small but picturesque lake town of Cedar Cove is home to romance, relationships and drama.

At the center of it all is Judge Olivia Lockhart, played by Andie MacDowell, whose Cedar Cove Municipal Court is where the town’s shocking surprises and hidden secrets are unveiled. Dylan Neal plays the handsome Jack Griffith, the new editor of the Cedar Cove Chronicle, who uncovers and reveals the truth on what goes on behind the closed courtroom doors, but also has grown to be a love interest for Judge Lockhart.




Arcade Fire Concert Special – “Here Comes the Night Time”

Immediately after performing as musical guests on the 39th season premiere of Saturday Night Live, the Arcade Fire Concert Special “Here Comes the Night Time” aired on NBC. But for Arcade Fire fans who either fell asleep before the concert special or didn’t even know it was on, The Creators Project has made the special available online.

Directed by Roman Coppola, the concert special features the band performing numbers – “Here Comes the Night Time,” “We Exist,” and “Normal Person” – from their new Reflektor album due in stores on October 29, 2013 The special also features appearances by celebs including Bill Hader, Zack Galifianakis, and Michael Cera.

CNN Renews’Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown’

Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown Renewed

CNN has renewed the original series Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown for a third season. The eight-episode season three will air in spring 2014 with Bourdain showcasing Brazil, Las Vegas, and Africa among the locations featured in the new episodes.

“We had high expectations for this series when it launched back in April, thanks to Tony and Zero Point Zero Production’s proven track record of success,” stated Jeff Zucker, President, CNN Worldwide. “Yet they keep raising the bar – first with the spectacular series premiere in Myanmar, later in the season with the groundbreaking Libya episode, and then at the start of season two with a sensitive and incredibly informative tour of Jerusalem, Gaza and the West Bank. Parts Unknown is a consistent ratings and critical success and we are so proud to be in partnership with Tony and ZPZ.”

The series is produced by Zero Point Zero Production and executive produced by Chris Collins, Lydia Tenaglia, and Sandra Zweig.

Justin Timberlake is planning world domination. His The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2 hit stores today, and he’s just unveiled plans to take his The 20/20 Experience World Tour to UK/Europe beginning on March 30th in Sheffield, UK. He’ll also be entertaining fans in Paris, Zurich, and Berlin as part of the new dates just added to his The 20/20 Experience Tour which officially kicks off on October 31, 2013 in Montreal.

Tickets go on sale for the UK/European leg on October 4th.

Timberlake is touring in support of The 20/20 Experience which held the top spot on the Top 200 chart for three weeks and R&B album chart for 10 weeks. The album also earned Timberlake the top spot on the “biggest digital debut in U.S. history by a male artist” chart.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Final Poster

Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) looks fierce on this final theatrical poster for the November 22, 2013 release of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Directed by Francis Lawrence, this second film of the series also features Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks, Liam Hemsworth, Sam Claflin, Donald Sutherland, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Lenny Kravitz, Stanley Tucci, Woody Harrelson, and Willow Shields.

The Plot:

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire begins as Katniss Everdeen has returned home safe after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning means that they must turn around and leave their family and close friends, embarking on a “Victor’s Tour” of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is still very much in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) – a competition that could change Panem forever.

Rosamund Pike and Thomas Brodie-Sangster Join ‘Thunderbirds Are Go!’ Cast

Rosamund Pike is set to play Lady Penelope and David Graham will be reprising his role as chauffeur/International Rescue agent Parker in ITV Studios and Pukeko Pictures’ Thunderbirds Are Go!. The series, based on Gerry and Sylvia Anderson’s beloved series, will premiere on ITV in 2015.

According to ITV, the new show will be a mix of CGI animation and live-action miniature sets.

“I’m very excited to bring Lady Penelope’s wry wit and taste for adventure to a new generation,” stated Pike. “Exploring the scenes with David Graham has been an absolute delight. The scripts are very modern, very fresh and very funny. We’re all eagerly anticipating our next stint in the recording studio!”

The cast will also include:

– Unstoppable inventor Brains will be voiced by Kayvan Novak.
– Tracy brothers Gordon and John are both played by Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Game of Thrones).
– The youngest and oldest Tracy brothers Alan and Scott will be played by Rasmus Hardiker.
– The fifth Tracy brother, Virgil, will be played by David Menkin.
– Tracy Island matriarch Grandma Tracy is voiced by Sandra Dickinson.
– Master villain The Hood played by Andres Williams.
– The new character Kayo, the Tracy brothers’ friend and fellow island resident, will be played by Angel Coulby.
– Colonel Casey will be voiced by Adjoa Andoh.

Commenting on his cast, executive producer Giles Ridge said, “Each member of the cast has brought a brilliantly fresh and unique approach to these wonderful characters. I can’t think of anyone better than Rosamund to bring back to life the fabulous Lady Penelope and we are honoured that David Graham has joined the cast to revisit his role as Parker.”

ITV’s working on 26 30-minute episodes with Rob Hoegee as head writer, David Scott as series director, and Theo Baynton as episodic director.




Garfunkel & Oates, American Storage Coming to IFC Network

IFC LogoIFC has just greenlit two projects, giving the new series Garfunkel & Oates a spot on the network’s 2014 lineup and American Storage a pilot order. Garfunkel & Oates, starring the comedy duo of Riki Lindhome and Kate Micucci, will have a season one run of 10 thirty minute episodes. American Storage follows the friendship of a storage facility employee and the man who lives in one of the units.
 
“We are huge fans of Riki and Kate; their humor is fresh and accessible and they’ll be a great fit alongside The Spoils of Babylon, Portlandia, Maron and other shows on the horizon,” stated Jennifer Caserta, IFC’s president and general manager, announcing the new shows. “Everyone we work with shares our sensibility and passion for creating authentic comedies, and these new relationships will further complement our expanding roster of original programming.”
 
Details on Garfunkel & Oates:
 
Garfunkel & Oates centers on the aspirations and misadventures of the female comedy-folk duo Riki Lindhome (Garfunkel) and Kate Micucci (Oates), and will spotlight the personal and professional lives of the duo whose career choices – singing satirical and sometimes dirty songs – leaves them with little in common with their peers, and no one but each other to turn to for support and understanding.

What happens when a straight-laced employee at a storage facility befriends the eccentric man he discovers living in one of the units? American Storage is based on the short film of the same name co-written by Andrew Jay Cohen (Neighbors) and Brendan O’Brien (Neighbors) and directed by Cohen.

CBS Isn’t Forgetting About Unforgettable

Unforgettable Renewed for Season 3

CBS’ on-again/off-again relationship with Unforgettable is on once again. The network officially announced the renewal of the dramatic series for a third season.
 
The renewal comes as a bit of a surprise as the network cancelled the series after season one, then brought it back for a season two run that didn’t even air all of its episodes. But according to CBS, Unforgettable averaged 8.23 million viewers over the course of season two which is good enough to earn a renewal.
 
The season three renewal will give the series 13 new episodes that will air next summer.
 
The Plot:
 
Unforgettable stars Poppy Montgomery as a police detective with a rare condition that allows her to remember and readily access the details of every moment in her life, and Dylan Walsh as her ex-boyfriend and partner. It also stars Jane Curtain, Dallas Roberts, James Hiroyuki and Tawny Cypress.
