Really people? Lea Michele? I have nothing against the Glee star but to win the Favorite Comedic TV Actress award over Jane Lynch, Kaley Cuoco, Sofia Vergara, and Zooey Deschanel just seems a bit odd. Winning the People’s Choice 2013 honor just goes to prove the Gleek force is still alive and well, and definitely into voting for their favorite Glee stars.
The People Like Maroon 5
There wasn’t a big awards presentation for the winner of the People’s Choice 2013 Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show, however Supernatural stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles were able to thank their devoted fan base for their support before handing out the award for Favorite Band to Maroon 5.
Adam Levine handled the task of thanking the fans on behalf of the group, and he acknowledged that all the other bands in this category are awesome. So, who were the other bands? Maroon 5 beat out Green Day, Linkin Park, No Doubt and Train.

Taylor Swift is Named Favorite Country Artist
Taylor Swift beat out some tough competition from Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Jason Aldean, and Tim McGraw to be named the Favorite Country Artist at the People’s Choice Awards 2013. Olivia Munn and Johnny Galecki had the honor of presenting the award, with Munn trying to out-Country her presenting partner by letting him know that Swift wrote “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” about her.
Swift accepted the award from Munn, with Munn trying to hold on to the trophy and Swift acknowledging this always happens to her at award shows. She went on to thank the fans, specifically thanking them for their support of Red.
Jennifer Aniston Wins Another People’s Choice Award
“I love the people…I really do. I can not thank you enough for allowing me to be honored with this, again, after supporting me for almost 20 years and allowing me to keep doing this. I really thank you because it means I get to do what I just really love to do.”
That’s what Jennifer Aniston said when she took the stage at the People’s Choice Awards 2013 to receive the award for Favorite Comedic Movie Actress, her sixth win overall. Aniston’s 2012 comedy, Wanderlust, probably wasn’t seen by many of the ‘people’ who voted her the award this year, but she does have the potentially funny movie We’re the Millers heading to theaters in 2013.
