Anne Hathaway Shows Class While Answering a Dumb Question

Anne Hathaway on Today

Anne Hathaway had an unfortunate incident at the premiere of the big screen musical, Les Miserables. While exiting a car, Hathaway accidentally showed off a little more than she meant to and a photographer was on hand to capture the embarrasing moment.

Hathaway was then asked by Matt Lauer about the incident during an interview on Today that was supposed to center on her role in Les Mis but that instead kicked off with the wardrobe malfunction question.

Lauer asked, “What’s the lesson learned from something like that? Other than that, you keep smiling, which you always do.”

To which Hathaway replied, “Well, it was obviously an unfortunate incident. I think it kind of made me sad on two accounts. One was that I was very sad that we live in an age when someone takes a picture of another person in a vulnerable moment and rather than delete it, and do the decent thing, sells it. And I’m sorry that we live in a culture that commodifies sexuality of unwilling participants, which brings us back to Les Mis…”

Frightened Rabbit Announces 2013 Spring Tour Dates and Debuts New Video

Scottish rock band Frightened Rabbits will be touring North America this coming spring in support of their upcoming album, Pedestrian Verse (dropping on February 5, 2013 in the US). The group just revealed their plans for 2013, kicking off the North American tour on March 8th at Seattle’s Showbox at the Market. The tour will conclude on April 13, 2013 in Dallas.

Frightened Rabbit also just revealed the new video for their single, “The Woodpile.” “The Woodpile” is off of Pedestrian Verse, the group’s fourth studio album.

Discussing the new album, singer Scott Hutchison said, “The title is taken from a lyric in ‘State Hospital.’ I felt it was a nicely faceted title, with enough layered meaning to remain open to interpretation. Above all though, it was a gauntlet I threw down for myself. If you call your album Pedestrian Verse, you can’t settle for any old lyric. It forced me to better myself. In fact, I think we all stepped up on this album and I believe that our producer Leo Abrahams had a major role in that step. He threw our music into areas we had not previously imagined. More than any other record we’ve done this has been a genuine journey of discovery into new ways of working in order to develop and fully realize each of the songs. As a result, I think ‘Pedestrian Verse’ is the strongest and most interesting record we’ve made to date.”

The CW Readies Two New Reality Shows

CW LogoThe CW has given the go-ahead to two new reality TV series: The Hunt and Perfect Score. One will send competitors out into the wilderness to survive for a month while the other sends competitors out into the even more hazardous world of dating.

Details on The Hunt:

The Hunt is an intense wilderness competition taking place over one month, as 12 teams of two are provided no food, water, or shelter, but must compete in a game where they’ll rely on their physicality, survival skills, and hunting skills to endure their conditions, capture one another, and ultimately win a huge cash prize.

Details on Perfect Score:

Perfect Score puts a unique twist on dating game shows by not only giving players a chance to win a date, but also the opportunity to win cold hard cash — IF they can successfully identify their perfect match. In each half-hour episode, two friends compete to see who can pick their ideal mate from a group of 12 prospective singles, after both the players and the contestants have taken compatibility tests. These tests are used to assign cash values to each possible match, and the player who selects the most compatible single – with the highest cash value – wins the cash prize and the date!

Jimmy Kimmel Interviews Ted – Yes, That Ted

Ted the trash-talking teddy bear made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk about Ted on Blu-ray. While being interviewed by Kimmel, Ted talked about how now he is being recognized everywhere he goes and how escaping into a Build-a-Bear is NOT fun in the least bit.

He also discussed his holiday plans – think Santa and a private part – and how he turned down a role in Game of Thrones.

As for Ted 2, it’ll be in Thailand and basically the same film, just like The Hangover 2.
