Warner Bros just released the full trailer for one of the most anticipated films of 2012, The Dark Knight Rises. The trailer, which debuted before theatrical screenings of Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, shows many of the same scenes we’ve seen included in behind the scenes videos shot by people hanging out around the sets – but in this more polished form, they look a whole lot better.
Starring Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Michael Caine, The Dark Knight Rises rises in theaters on July 20, 2012.
Image Entertainment’s just released a new trailer for the psychological thriller Beneath the Darkness starring Dennis Quaid (as a psycho killer), Aimee Teegarden, Tony Oller, Stephen Lunsford, Devon Werkheiser, Brett Cullen, Amber Bartlett and Dahlia Waingort. Beneath the Darkness will hit theaters on January 6, 2012.

The Plot: In Beneath the Darkness, Ely Vaughn (Quaid) is a pillar of the community in tiny Smithville, Texas. The town’s mortician, Ely has been revered since his days as the high school’s star quarterback. But since the tragic death of his wife two years earlier, Ely has withdrawn from his neighbors, while local teens spread stories of supernatural goings on at Ely’s mansion—which is also the funeral home.
When high school friends Travis (Oller), Abby (Teegarden), Brian (Lunsford) and Danny (Werkheiser) decide to check out the rumors, they are shocked to see the supposedly grieving widower dancing with a mysterious woman behind the curtains of his bedroom window. Their curiosity aroused, the four teens wait for Ely to leave the house before breaking in to investigate.
But instead of finding clues to the woman’s identity, they stumble on a grotesque, long-hidden secret. The sadistic mortician next door will now stop at nothing to literally bury his past.

The Wailers have announced a special “Revolution” tour kicking off on December 27, 2011 in New York and finishing up on February 21, 2012 in Livingstone, Zambia. According to Aston ‘Family Man’ Barrett, friend and collaborator of Bob Marley’s, this tour will be a themed show featuring inspirational anthems as the Wailers lend their voices to the voice of the people during this tumultuous time in history.
Family Man Barrett’s been with the Wailers for 40 years and says, “I am eager to take the spirit of rebel music that I was able to bring forth with my bred’ren Bob Marley, out on the road and across America. These are the times Bob sang about when he said, It takes a revolution to make a solution. We want to show the people that the Wailers are the band of the 99 percent. Bon Jovi, Foo Fighters and blink-182 have signed on to headline The Bamboozle 2012 set to take place in North Beach Asbury Park, New Jersey, May 18-20, 2012. 100+ acts are scheduled to perform on nine stages on the beach and boardwalk in one of the oldest and largest music festivals on the East Coast.

Showing even rock stars have hearts, Kid Rock purchased 1,200 $25 Meijer department store/grocery store gift cards which he’ll distribute to Detroit citizens in need this Christmas. Local radio stations helped pass out the gift cards beginning on December 14, 2011 to people who can use some extra help this holiday season.
In 2010, Kid Rock donated 1,000 meals at Thanksgiving and decided, after the success of that charitable gift, to up the amount given out this year to 1,200. His charitable efforts don’t stop there, as he and a group of of Detroit business people gave $375,000 to Detroit charities through his Kid Rock Foundation. And he has plans for another charitable donation to be announced early in 2012 which will also focus on Detroit.
Kid Rock recently completed a US tour and performed his single, “Care,” on CNN’s Heroes: An All-Star Tribute last weekend.

Beach Boys Brian Wilson, Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston, and David Marks have announced that in celebration of the group’s 50th anniversary, they will reunite for a new studio album as well as a 50-date international tour. The tour will kick off in New Orleans at the Jazz & Heritage Festival in April 2012.
In the press release announcing the anniversary news, founding Beach Boys member Brian Wilson stated, “This anniversary is special to me because I miss the boys and it will be a thrill for me to make a new record and be on stage with them again.”
Mike Love added, “We got together at Capitol Records and re-recorded ‘Do It Again.’ Brian and I wrote that song which went to number 1 in Great Britain, Australia and elsewhere some 44 years ago. Brian paid me a compliment saying, ‘How can a guy sound that great so many years later?’ Later on, while working out some harmonies on a new song Brian had written, I got a chance to return the compliment. It was a thrill to be around a piano again with Brian, Alan and Bruce and experience firsthand the brilliance of Cousin Brian’s gift for vocal arrangements. I am very much looking forward to David Marks joining us and thrilling with his surf guitar licks. Music has been the unifying and harmonizing fact of life in our family since childhood. It has been a huge blessing that we have been able to share with the world. Wouldn’t It Be Nice to Do It Again? Absolutely!”

Founded in Hawthorne, California in 1961, The Beach Boys were originally comprised of the three teenaged Wilson brothers: Brian, Carl and Dennis, their cousin Mike Love, and school friend Al Jardine. In 1962, neighbor David Marks joined the group for their first wave of hits on Capitol Records, leaving in late 1963, and in 1965, Bruce Johnston joined the band when Brian Wilson retired from touring to focus on writing and producing records for the group. In news that’s only news because it’s Justin Timberlake and because it’s a relatively slow news period in the entertainment arena, it’s just been announced Timberlake’s putting his love of golf to use as Callaway Golf Company’s “Creative Director for the Callaway portfolio of Brands”.
The position was created for Timberlake, who will, according to Jeff Colton, Sr. Vice President of Global Brand and Product, “engage in the development and execution of high-level concepts within Callaway’s marketing activities and offer wide-ranging consultation on the visual representation of the Brand.”
“We have worked with Justin for more than three years now and have been thoroughly impressed with the level of quality he brings to everything he is involved with,” says Colton. “Justin is an extremely gifted artist and an avid golfer with a deep passion for Callaway products, and his creative energy will serve us well as we connect with the next generation of golfers.
