Season two of Prime Video’s critically acclaimed Jury Duty leaves the courthouse and heads to a secluded retreat. Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat will premiere with the release of the first three episodes on March 20, 2026. Two episodes follow on March 27, with the season wrapping up on April 3.

Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat features the same setup as the first season: one member of the ensemble doesn’t know they’re starring in a TV series. The just-announced cast includes Alex Bonifer, Blair Beeken, Emily Pendergast, Erica Hernandez, Jerry Hauck, Jim A. Woods, LaNisa Renee Frederick, and Marc-Sully Saint-Fleur. Rachel Kaly, Rob Lathan, Ryan Perez, Stephanie Hodge, Warren Burke, and Wendy Braun round out the ensemble.

Prime Video offers this synopsis:

Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat is a documentary-style comedy that captures a corporate offsite event at a family-owned hot sauce company from the perspective of Anthony, a recently hired temporary worker. Unbeknownst to Anthony, the entire experience is staged, every colleague around him is performing a role, and each moment—whether in conference rooms or during downtime—has been meticulously orchestrated.

As the founder prepares to step down, the getaway transforms into a clash between big corporate ambitions and small business values, with control of the company hanging in the balance.”

Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky co-created the series and serve as executive producers along with David Bernad, Todd Schulman, Nicholas Hatton, Jake Szymanski, Anthony King, Chris Kula, and season one star James Marsden

‘How to Make a Killing’ Review: Glen Powell Charms in This Darkly Humorous Revenge Tale

How to Make a Killing Review
Glen Powell in ‘How to Make a Killing’ (Photo Credit: A24)

Glen Powell totally nails the charm factor, even when he is stepping into the shoes of a character who is not exactly a saint. In How to Make a Killing, Powell is so charismatic that you cannot help but cheer for his character as he navigates a series of murders, despite the fact his victims are more inconvenient than villainous.

Powell’s Becket Redfellow is a decent guy who, by virtue of his bloodlines, should have been raised in the lap of luxury. Instead, his mom chose love over wealth, leaving the cushy world of a NY mansion packed with servants for a cozy little place in New Jersey. After a heartbreaking turn of events, Becket’s left orphaned, but he’s got the silver lining of knowing that he’s still in line to inherit the Redfellow fortune. And that dangling possibility of unimaginable wealth drives Becket to take aim at the relatives ahead of him.

How to Make a Killing isn’t a whodunit. Becket “done it” and in fact, he’s already on death row when the film begins. With just four hours left before his execution, Becket chats with a priest, casually walking him (and the audience) through the wild series of events that led to him offing each of his relatives.

Writer-director John Patton Ford brought together a stellar cast, surrounding Powell with a talented ensemble to play Becket’s victims. Becket needs to knock off six entitled relatives on his way to the ultimate murder of the slimy family patriarch, played with a diabolic twinkle in his eye by Ed Harris. Ford’s script doesn’t linger long on any particular victim, with the exception of one who serves not only as a steppingstone toward the family fortune but also as the catalyst for finding Becket’s perfect match.

Becket’s relatives are a mix of obnoxious narcissists (played by Raff Law, Topher Grace, and Bianca Amato), an Elon Musk-type tech bro (Alexander Hanson), a pretentious artist (Zach Woods), and a remarkably decent man (Bill Camp) who is truly sorry for how Becket’s mom was treated by the family. However, it’s two women outside the family who mostly occupy Becket’s attention.

Becket grew up learning skills that would be helpful among the ultra-rich who shunned his mom. Mary (Nell Williams) put her son through classes that most kids of his socioeconomic background had no need for, aware that these talents would be necessary to navigate the upper echelons of the country club elite. The classes paid off in an unexpected way, with the young Becket making a connection with Julia. They reconnect as adults, and their complex relationship plays a pivotal role in just about everything Becket does.

Margaret Qualley plays Julia as a snake wrapped in gorgeous skin, a femme fatale who knows how and when to pull Becket’s strings. He’s not exactly her puppet, but he’s definitely puppet-adjacent.

The other woman is Ruth, the polar opposite of Julia in every conceivable way. Ruth, played by Jessica Henwick, is sweet and kind and couldn’t care less about the Redfellow family fortune. Those opposing forces represent the angel (Ruth) and the devil (Julia) sitting on Becket’s shoulders. Henwick and Qualley have decent chemistry with Powell on screen, but it’s not like a sparks-flying, can’t-live-without type of connection with either one. Still, it’s not hard to accept that Becket would be attracted to both Ruth and Julia for very different reasons.

How to Make a Killing‘s theatrical release couldn’t be better timed. Given the current news cycle, the uber-rich are incredibly unpopular with the public. It’s delicious to watch Becket take down people who believe they’re superior and untouchable because of their money. How to Make a Killing gives us permission to root for a character who crosses a line we can’t.

This darkly humorous thriller serves as an entertaining revenge tale, with Becket working his way through the family that dropkicked his mom to the curb. Becket believes money will make him happy and complete, and because that brass ring is just out of reach, he’s never satisfied with what he has. That unwavering focus is thanks to his mom’s mantra that he shouldn’t give up on what’s rightfully his. Well, that and the fact his moral compass isn’t just broken; it’s smashed to smithereens.

The murders are a little too simple, the FBI is portrayed as fairly inept (which fits with the 2026 release), and the final act feels rushed and a little too contrived. Yet, Powell powers through it all. How to Make a Killing is a fun enough diversion from reality, thanks to his performance. And right now, any distraction is welcome.

‘The Mummy’ Trailer: A New Twist on the Classic Tale

The trailer for New Line Cinema’s Lee Cronin’s The Mummy confirms this isn’t your parents’/grandparents’ mummy. No, this is an entirely different creature in a film that’s got a real Evil Dead vibe going on. Which makes sense since filmmaker Lee Cronin wrote and directed 2023’s Evil Dead Rise.

The new take on the classic horror story stars Jack Reynor (Midsommar), Laia Costa (The Wheel of Time), May Calamawy (Moon Knight), Natalie Grace (1923), and Veronica Falcón (Perry Mason).

“The young daughter of a journalist disappears into the desert without a trace—eight years later, the broken family is shocked when she is returned to them, as what should be a joyful reunion turns into a living nightmare,” reads Warner Bros Pictures’ synopsis.

James Wan, Jason Blum, and John Keville serve as producers, with Cronin, Michael Clear, Judson Scott, and Macdara Kelleher executive producing. Cronin’s behind-the-scenes team includes director of photography Dave Garbett, production designer Nick Bassett, editor Bryan Shaw, costume designer Joanna Eatwell, music by Stephen McKeon, and casting by Terri Taylor and Sarah Domeier Lindo.

Lee Cronin’s The Mummy will open in theaters and IMAX on April 17, 2026.

A murderer’s possibly roaming around Port Wenn on Fox’s Best Medicine season one, episode eight. “The Bogfather” will air on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 8pm ET/PT.

“The Bogfather” Plot: Sensing high drama and mystery, Port Wenn eagerly goes into high alert when a corpse is found in the town’s bog and Martin’s autopsy reveals that he was murdered. Best Medicine Description, Courtesy of Fox:

The series follows Martin Best (Charles), a brilliant surgeon who abruptly leaves his illustrious career in Boston to become the general practitioner in a quaint East Coast fishing village where he spent summers as a child. Unfortunately, Martin’s blunt and borderline rude bedside manner rubs the quirky, needy locals the wrong way, including schoolteacher Louisa Gavin (Spencer). He quickly alienates the town, even though he’s all they have.

Although Martin can expertly address any medical ailment or mystery in this idiosyncratic town, he’s really just desperate to be left the hell alone. Instead, he keeps getting dragged smack into the middle of their personal chaos, feuds, and fantasies. What the locals don’t know is that Martin’s terse demeanor masks a debilitating new phobia and deep-seated psychological issues that prevent him from experiencing true intimacy with anyone. But tenacity is the creed of everyone in their small village, and the people who live there may be exactly what the doctor ordered.

‘School Spirits’ Season 3 Episode 6 Recap: “Children of the Scorned”

School Spirits Season 3 Episode 6 Recap
Kristian Ventura as Simon Elroy in ‘School Spirits’ season 3 episode 6 (Photo Credit: Ed Araquel/Paramount+)

Paramount+’s School Spirits season three, episode six begins with Xavier (Spencer MacPherson) breaking the news to Kyle (Ari Dalbert) that there’s someone walking around in his body. Someone’s been living the life he should have had this whole time. Obviously, Kyle can’t believe his body’s alive, and Xavier promises he and Maddy are going to track down dairy mogul K.C. Jensen, who’s in Kyle’s body.

(The following is a recap of season three, episode six and there are spoilers.)

Maddy’s dad, Dave (Danny Mac), suggests that he and Kyle talk to Nurse Calvert, since she’s been around longer than the rest of them.

Maddie (Peyton List) is downing coffee at an alarming rate, just to keep her mind off the ghosts being trapped for eternity. Xavier adds to her problems by announcing they need to track down Kyle’s body snatcher.

Nicole (Kiara Pichardo) and Claire (Rainbow Wedell) spent the entire night researching and learned Van Heidt was a seriously corrupt financial player in town. They also found articles published after he died that Maddie thinks will be helpful.

Simon (Kristian Ventura) and the ghosts update Maddie on Van Heidt, with Simon explaining that he “saw” Van Heidt lock the children in the church. Rhonda (Sarah Yarkin) is sure they’ll end up trapped with Van Heidt, but the rest of the ghosts are still holding out hope Maddie will figure out how to stop them from being stuck forever.

Maddie delivers a bombshell: Kyle’s bodysnatcher is a town councilman who makes decisions on building new schools. She thinks she can reason with him, but Charley (Nick Pugliese) doesn’t know why a random hospital ghost who’s in Kyle’s body would help them out. Maddie says, “We have to throw everything at the wall…and this is the wall.”

Maddie warns Simon to be careful and thinks it’s strange that he doesn’t remember being hit by Quinn. Mr. Martin (Josh Zuckerman) shows them the ring Simon found in the scar, and it’s engraved with AVH. Simon wants to go back, and Mr. Martin reminds them he’s the only one Van Heidt wants to communicate with. Maddie agrees, but only if Simon rests first.

Maddie has a private conversation with Wally (Milo Manheim) and admits she’s been having disturbing dreams. She can’t remember pockets of time, and Wally thinks it might be her body’s response to trauma. Wally assures her no one expects her to figure this out by herself. Since they aren’t responsible for everything that’s happened to them or will happen, they should just spend the time with the people they care about.

They leave all their worries behind for a while and enjoy each other’s company, with both desperately wishing they could actually touch each other. It’s a sweet, sensual moment with just the two of them—and a much-needed break from the chaos.

School Spirits Season 3 Episode 6 Recap

Quinn (Ci Hang Ma), Rhonda, Charley, and Yuri (Miles Elliot) hang out in the library, and Quinn describes Kyle as a good guy who stood up to bullies for her. Rhonda fixates on being stuck there for eternity, and Mr. Martin joins them and insists they won’t give up. Instead, they need to think this through. He points out everything they’ve learned and accomplished in just the last month. Mr. Martin knows he won’t get his door, but the rest of them still have a chance.

Mr. Martin thanks them for allowing him to really get to know them as people. He points out how each has recently grown and how far they’ve come, and Charley agrees that it’s possible they get their doors before they’re trapped.

Charley heads out to see if he can learn how much time they have left, and Yuri follows him. Rhonda decides to go with Simon to the church. Mr. Martin joins them, but Quinn thinks she had better hang out in the library after hurting Simon the last time she went into the hole.

Charley goes through the school’s office and tries to find the demolition date. He’s panicking, worried that Yuri might get his door and leave him there. Charley’s losing it and Yuri admits that it’s hard for him to deal with Charley when he’s like this. Yuri confesses he doesn’t know what to say to make Charley feel better. They hug and kiss, and Yuri tells Charley there’s no one else he’d want to be trapped with.

The threesome in the church look around for potential clues, and Rhonda finds a door she can’t open. Simon discovers sheet music just as Rhonda and Mr. Martin are pulled into the water by the creepy hands. The librarian hears Rhonda and Mr. Martin fall into the library. She sees soggy books and a wet floor but not the ghosts responsible.

Back in the church, Simon confronts Van Heidt. Van Heidt cuts his own palm and holds it up to Simon, who’s shocked. “You bleed. You’re alive,” says Simon.

Rhonda and Mr. Martin are feeling pain from their collision, and Rhonda believes there’s something wrong with that scar. She thinks it takes something from them, and it’s definitely causing Simon to act strange.

Wally walks up, worried, and Mr. Martin can’t understand why the hands threw them into the library. Why here, and why was he thrown into the bus stop last time? Wally wants to check on Simon, but Mr. Martin won’t let him go alone. It’s too dangerous.

Xavier and Maddie attend a city council meeting, and Superintendent Deborah Hunter-Price (Jennifer Tilly) addresses the council, requesting that they move up the demolition date. Principal Hartman (Alex Zahara) argues that disrupting the school in the middle of a semester can be harmful for the kids. The council chairperson agrees with Deborah that the school’s in bad shape but points out it will be incredibly costly.

Deborah insists that council member Jensen could foot the bill. Just then, Jensen arrives and it’s obvious everyone in attendance likes him. Maddie and Xavier introduce themselves and insist they don’t want the demolition to go on because it’s their home.

Jensen suggests they make an appointment with his secretary to discuss the matter. Maddie says it’s too urgent, and Mr. Jensen agrees to meet them at school that evening.

School Spirits Season 3 Episode 6 Recap
Josh Zuckerman as Mr. Martin, Roy Campsall as White Eyes and Kristian Ventura as Simon Elroy in ‘School Spirits’ season 3 episode 6 (Photo Credit: Ed Araquel/Paramount+)

Back in the church, Van Heidt does another mind meld and Simon sees what happened in the moments leading up to the flooding of the church. Wally and Mr. Martin rip him away from Van Heidt, but Simon insists he needs to finish watching what Van Heidt is showing him.

Over at the hospital, Dave and Kyle learn from Nurse Calvert that there are hidden rooms in the hospital (scars) where you can see your memories. Calver’s is an old elevator and around the time Kyle came into the hospital, she passed by her scar. Someone opened its door, and she believes that someone from beyond their world got in. It felt like something dark. Now she realizes that whoever opened the door left Kyle in the hospital and took his body.

Dave wonders if that means someone got her key, and Nurse Calvert says she’ll show them how the doors can be opened another way later that night.

The ghosts and Maddie are gathered around when Simon finally comes to. He reveals that White Eyes isn’t Van Heidt; he’s the church’s pastor. White Eyes was trying to protect the kids, not kill them. Simon also reveals that White Eyes is alive and that it was his blood used on the drawings. The pastor could see the children after they died, just like how he could see Maddie. Which means there’s something down there that will help them understand how the veil is lifted.

Maddie thinks that the ghosts should let her and Xavier have their meeting with Mr. Jensen first. Xavier’s with Maddie and points out Mr. Jensen is a no-show so far, so Maddie wants to go to Mr. Jensen’s instead. Wally insists that it’s too dangerous to do this at night alone.

Simon interrupts and orders Maddie to go to the boiler room. Mr. Martin hangs back with Wally and asks if he’s planning on telling the other ghosts about his door. Wally confesses that he doesn’t know how he can do it.

Maddie and Simon argue over her decision to go to Mr. Jensen’s place. Simon’s certain the pastor’s trying to tell him something that will help him get out. They’re scared for each other and wish they were in the same realm to do this together. Neither agrees to give up on their plans, and Maddie hopes someday this will all be a hilarious story.

Nicole and Claire want to join Xavier and Maddie to speak with Mr. Jensen, but Maddie doesn’t want to put them all at risk. She thinks she’s convinced them to let her and Xavier handle it, but of course they follow her.

Chain-smoking Nurse Calvert walks Dave and Kyle through the hospital, just as the ghosts and Simon return to the church. Simon asks Quinn to play the piano and then asks White Eyes to tell him his story. Just then Mr. Martin realizes the drawings are White Eyes’ story; it seems that he’s trying to remember his life. Simon reads Finnish on the wall perfectly and it says, “Do you know who I am?” Simon says he knows he’s the pastor and that together they’ll remember what happened—and then White Eyes can tell him why he’s there.

Maddie admits to having a bad feeling when they pull up outside Mr. Jensen’s house. They ring the bell and are freaked out when Mr. Jensen’s suddenly outside behind them in the dark. He invites them in and Xavier notices he has a lot of antiques, including a lot of guns. Mr. Jensen fixes them tea and puts on an old-timey record. He cuts to the chase and wonders why they’re really there. Mr. Jensen opens his checkbook to write a donation check to their “club,” but Maddie explains they want info on who he really is.

She asks about ghosts and Mr. Jensen thinks this is weird and they need to leave. As he’s putting down his checkbook, Maddie notices he’s wearing the ring from the church. Mr. Jensen admits it’s a family heirloom. Maddie calls him Mr. Van Heidt and he responds, “It’s been a long time since someone’s called me that.”

Maddie promises they won’t tell anyone if he helps them. He admits that when you’re around a long time, you can “outlast every single consequence.” Mr. Jensen fetches their tea as Xavier points out a photo of Kyle to Maddie.

Nicole and Claire pull up outside but stay in the car.

Deborah and her daughter, Livia (Erika Swayze), also show up at Mr. Jensen’s to pick up the donation check. Nicole and Claire watch as Deborah rings the doorbell. Mr. Jensen gets up to answer it and a few seconds later, Maddie realizes she doesn’t hear any voices. Maddie realizes Mr. Jensen’s making a run for it and Xavier notices a gun is missing. He chases after her, screaming that Jensen has a gun.

Maddie runs through a corn maze, hot on Mr. Jensen’s heels. Xavier continues to chase her, telling her to stop. Nicole and Claire also join the chase.

White Eyes shows Simon the children in the church on their final day. Van Heidt visited them after they died, according to the drawings on the wall and White Eyes’ memories. There was a lightning storm and Van Heidt got out while White Eyes got stuck in this realm. Since then, he’s been stuck there. Simon knows White Eyes is the children’s protector and lost his memories from his own grief. White Eyes wails, and suddenly water floods the church. Mr. Martin sees his childhood friend who disappeared and was presumed dead among the children in the church.

Simon’s swept away as lightning begins striking in the area. They’re all pulled under the water and back into the library, except for Simon.

Maddie and her friends continue to chase Van Heidt in the field until Maddie suddenly has a vision of being in the boiler room while her body remains on autopilot running through the field. She sees Van Heidt standing in a doorway leading out of the school. He calls her a lucky young lady and then fires a shot.

Xavier, Nicole, and Claire find Maddie with Van Heidt. There’s blood and a gun, and Maddie says, “He’s gone.”

The anniversary special will stream on Disney+ on March 24, 2026.

Disney+ released this description of the anniversary event:

With heartfelt nostalgia and fresh perspective, Cyrus will revisit the moments, music and memories that defined an era. Viewers will be treated to never-before-seen archival footage, while some of the most memorable sets from Hannah Montana are brought back to life—including the Stewart family living room and the legendary Hannah Montana closet. There will also be some familiar *notes* that find their way back into the spotlight…”

HopeTown Entertainment and Unwell Productions are producing the special. Ashley Edens is the showrunner, and Miley Cyrus, Tish Cyrus-Purcell, Alex Cooper, and Matt Kaplan are the executive producers.

Hannah Montana opened the door for so many fans to dream big, sing loud, and embrace every side of themselves, which is why its legacy continues to shine across generations,” said Ayo Davis, president, Disney Branded Television. “Partnering with Miley on this special is a dream, and we want it to be a love letter to the fans, who remain as passionate today as they were when the series debuted almost 20 years ago.”
