Season two of Fox’s Doc continues with episode seven, which finds TJ helping out a social media influencer—among other storylines. Episode seven, “What I Did for Love,” will air on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 9pm ET/PT.
Molly Parker stars as Dr. Amy Larsen, Omar Metwally plays Dr. Michael Hamda, Felicity Huffman is Dr. Joan Ridley, Amirah Vann is Dr. Gina Walker, and Charlotte Fountain-Jardim plays Katie Hamda. Jon Ecker is Dr. Jake Heller and Anya Banerjee plays Dr. Sonya Maitra.
“What I Did for Love” Plot: Amy and Gina, with an assist from Jake, team up to help a victim of domestic abuse, while TJ finds himself in the spotlight when he, Sonya, and Liz treat a social media influencer. Also, Hannah and Charlie conspire to destroy Amy.
“Inspired by a true story and based on the hit eponymous Italian drama series, Doc begins its second season of the life-affirming medical drama following the heartbreak and victories of hard-charging, brilliant physician DR. AMY LARSEN (Parker) as she rebuilds her life after a car crash erased eight years of her memory. This season, Amy will continue to confront hard truths about her missing years, work to repair fractured relationships and seek to reconcile the person she used to be with the one everyone else has come to know.
Determined to get her memory back and piece together who she really is, Amy’s goal is to become the doctor she used to be in those missing years and to eventually, once again, be Chief of Internal Medicine. In the interim, her ex-husband/Westside Hospital’s Chief Medical Officer, DR. MICHAEL HAMDA (Metwally) fills the position with Amy’s former mentor and friend DR. JOAN RIDLEY (Huffman), whose motives and priorities remain hidden, just as long as Amy still can’t recall Joan’s life-changing secret. Amy’s best friend and colleague, DR. GINA WALKER (Vann), is weary of Joan’s motives and continues to be a beacon of support for those around her, while finally learning to put on her own oxygen mask first.
While relearning eight years of medical advancements is complicated, it pales in comparison to learning to navigate her new/old/current romantic entanglements. Amy continues to fight her feelings and let Michael go, especially now with the birth of his son with his new wife, bringing up emotions for both Amy and their daughter KATIE HAMDA (Fountain-Jardim). Amy’s on-again, off-again relationship with Chief Resident DR. JAKE HELLER (Ecker) is a bit more delicate as he struggles to protect his heart from her this time around. However, DR. SONYA MAITRA (Banerjee) would only be too glad to pick up the pieces, navigating the balance between her feelings for Jake and her complicated resentment towards Amy.
The second season of Doc begins as Amy’s past comes back to haunt her when a desperate father sacrifices everything to secure his daughter’s heart transplant. Chaos and confusion reverberate through the hallways of Westside Medical when a subsequent high-stakes emergency leaves a doctor’s life in the balance.”

Murder in a Small Town Description, Courtesy of Fox:
Murder in a Small Town follows Karl Alberg (Sutherland), who recently moved to the quiet coastal town of Gibsons to be the new police chief and quickly learns that this gentle paradise has more than its share of secrets. As a world-class detective, Karl calls upon all his skills to solve murders that, even in this seemingly idyllic setting, continue to wash up on his shore. Meanwhile, his deepening relationship with the town librarian Cassandra Lee (Kreuk) is challenged as her career and community involvement take her in new and unexpected directions.
In the second season, Karl’s jurisdiction expands, and he has to contend with an increased caseload and limited resources, investigating cases like a body found at a local wedding between members of two feuding families; a double kidnapping that may mask an even bigger crime; a pop star who retreated to Gibsons for a quiet vacation only to be followed by a dangerous stalker; and many more.
Academy Award-winner Marcia Gay Harden joins the cast as Mayor Christie Holman, a practicing doctor, beloved figure in the community, and a consummate political operator. She has the best interests of the people of Gibsons at heart but sometimes lets her personal interests take precedence, as she complicates life for Karl and Cassandra.

That was fast and not in the least bit unexpected. Season two of Nobody Wants This premiered on October 23, 2025 and today Netflix confirmed a third season is on the way.
“I couldn’t be more excited to head into a third season of this show. It is a privilege to be able to write about my favorite couple on a scale like this,” commented series creator and executive producer Erin Foster. “As long as it doesn’t take too much time away from me watching reality TV at night, I’ll do it for as long as they want me to!”
Season two hit the top spot on the streamer’s Global English TV Top 10 list two weeks running. Since its release in October, Netflix reports that it has garnered 18 million views.
Kristen Bell and Adam Brody star as Joanne the podcaster and Noah the hot rabbi. Justine Lupe plays Morgan, Timothy Simons is Sasha, and Jackie Tohn plays Esther.
“We are so grateful to Netflix and 20th for giving us another season of Nobody Wants This. This job is criminally fun,” said co-showrunners and executive producers Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan. “Working with the uniquely gifted Erin Foster, this unbelievable cast of talented, hilarious pros, amazing writers, and incredible crew has been a truly great experience.”
The third season of the critically acclaimed series will film in Los Angeles and is targeting a 2026 premiere. Additional executive producers include Steven Levitan, Kristen Bell, Sara Foster, Danielle Stokdyk, Jeff Morton, Nora Silver, and Oly Obst.
“First comes love, then comes life. The last time we saw agnostic podcast host Joanne (Bell) and unconventional (hot) rabbi Noah (Brody), their unmatched chemistry surprised everyone in their lives, including her sister Morgan (Lupe), his brother Sasha (Simons) and sister-in-law Esther (Tohn), and even themselvesm,” reads Netflix’s season two synopsis. “Their spark proved stronger than all of the obstacles trying to keep them apart. Now they’re back, and fully committed to merging their lives—and loved ones—together. But their differences still exist and can’t be ignored. The challenge now is not just falling in love against all odds, but staying together in spite of them.”
Netflix hasn’t released a synopsis for season three.
Since its first movie in 1987, the Predator franchise has built up a surprisingly deep mythology. Through two Alien vs. Predator movies, it’s even managed to tie itself into the deeper Alien folklore. And while we did get a couple of fun “drop a Predator into different situations” movies in Prey and Predator: Killer of Killers, the story is back to world-building with Predator: Badlands.
Predator: Badlands is about a Yautja warrior, known more commonly as a Predator, named Dek (Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi from The Panthers) who is considered the weak link in his clan and is set to be culled. With the help and sacrifice of his brother, he escapes and decides that the best way to prove his worth is to capture his first trophy, a beast on a planet called Genna that even his father is afraid of – the Kalisk.
Once on Genna, Dek finds that just about everything on the planet wants to (and is able to) kill him. He finds an unlikely ally in a decimated Weyland-Yutani Corporation synthetic named Thia (A Complete Unknown’sElle Fanning) who has her own reasons for going after the Kalisk. So, off they go. But soon into their hunt, they find that they themselves are being hunted as well.
With Predator: Badlands being his third Predator movie, director Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane) has a pretty good handle on the universe. And, for the most part, this movie is a solid example of a Predator movie. Or, at least, the first half of it is. The first half has Dek hunting, fighting, and killing his way through Genna as he stalks his ultimate prey.
At some point, it shifts from being about Dek and his journey to being about the Weyland-Yutani company and their never-ending quest for developing the Ultimate Weapon. This is where it turns into being an Alien crossover. And that’s also where Predator: Badlands goes from awesome to ridiculous. Predator movies are all, for the most part, big-budget B-movies, but in this case, it really goes off the rails with the campiness in the third act.
That doesn’t mean Predator: Badlands isn’t fun to watch. The corniness does have its appeal, but there’s a definite tone shift when things start focusing on the “real enemy” of Weyland-Yutani. It stops being a serious action movie and starts being an over-the-top cartoon.
And with that cartoonish tone comes some eye-gouging visual effects. The spectacle is impressive, almost to the point of being distracting. Both the indigenous life on Genna and the Weyland-Yutani invaders are lethal, so there are plenty of opportunities for the movie to show off killer creatures and massive explosions. And the movie takes those opportunities, even when it completely blinds the audience from seeing what’s actually happening onscreen.
Which can be unfortunate, because as with all Predator movies, there’s some terrific fight choreography and stunt work in Predator: Badlands. Even doused in CG effects, the combat scenes are meticulously crafted and, quite frankly, fun to watch. Even when they get corny, as they do later in the movie when Thia’s detached legs fight independently of her torso. Silly, yes. But still pretty awesome.
By now, fans expect the Predator and Alien worlds to be ensnared, so the presence of Weyland-Yutani should not surprise anyone. Predator: Badlands just continues the same old AvP story that sets the Yautja Predators as the heroes. And all this mythology and world-building is great. Let’s just hope they don’t stop making “drop a Predator into different situations” movies. Because sometimes, simple is better. Especially when it comes to creature features.
