‘1923’ is Renewed for Season 2

The critically acclaimed drama 1923, Taylor Sheridan’s second Yellowstone prequel, has been renewed for season two. 1923 had Paramount+’s biggest series premiere, with more than 7.4 million viewers checking out another generation of Duttons.

Oscar nominee Harrison Ford and Oscar winner Helen Mirren lead the cast as Jacob and Cara Dutton. Season one also stars Darren Mann (Animal Kingdom) as Jack Dutton, Brandon Sklenar (Westworld) as Spencer Dutton, Julia Schlaepfer (The Politician) as Alexandra, Michelle Randolph (A Snow White Christmas) as Elizabeth Strafford, and Marley Shelton (Scream) as Emma Dutton. Brian Geraghty (Big Sky) plays Zane Davis, Aminah Nieves (Blueberry) is Teonna Rainwater, and Jerome Flynn (Game of Thrones) is Banner Creighton.

Season one premiered on December 18, 2022 and is set to return after being on a month-long break with episode five, “Ghost of Zebrina,” streaming on February 5, 2023.

Taylor Sheridan created the series and serves as executive producer along with John Linson, Art Linson, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, and Ben Richardson. 1923‘s produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions.

The Plot: 1923 introduces a new generation of Duttons led by patriarch Jacob (Ford) and matriarch Cara (Mirren). The series explores the early 20th century, when pandemics, historic drought, and the end of Prohibition all plague the mountain west, and the Duttons who call it home.
