Fox is continuing the 24 franchise with the new series 24: Legacy focusing on new characters and an original storyline. 24: Legacy will only air a 12 episode first season instead of a full 24 episode season like the original series, but it will stick with 24‘s real-time format. Fox has given the series the prime spot behind the 2017 Super Bowl, setting a two night premiere for Sunday, February 5th and Monday, February 6th.

The Plot: The series chronicles an adrenaline-fueled race against the clock to stop a devastating terrorist attack on United States soil – in the same real-time format that has propelled this genre-defining series. 24: Legacy stars Corey Hawkins (Straight Outta Compton), Miranda Otto (Homeland) and Jimmy Smits (Sons of Anarchy).
