Will one of the main characters on ABC’s 9-1-1 actually be killed off? Season eight episode 14 definitely set the stage for the demise of one key player (no spoilers here in case you haven’t watched the episode yet), but just who is going to die might come as a surprise. The teaser for part two of the two-part thriller declares, “Think you know the ending? You’re dead wrong.”
Episode 15, “Lab Rats,” airs on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 8pm ET/PT.
The cast is led by Peter Krause as Bobby Nash and Angela Bassett as Athena Grant-Nash. Jennifer Love Hewitt plays Maddie Han, Oliver Stark is Evan “Buck” Buckley, Kenneth Choi is Howie “Chimney” Han, Aisha Hinds stars as Henrietta “Hen” Wilson, Ryan Guzman is Eddie Diaz, and Gavin McHugh is Christopher Diaz.
“Lab Rats” Plot: Athena and Buck are in a race against time to rescue the rest of the 118 following the fire in the bio lab.

The series explores the high-pressure experiences of first responders — including police officers, firefighters, and dispatchers—who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking, and heart-stopping conditions.
