Hawaii 5-0‘s Scott Caan and Devious Maids‘ Dania Ramirez star in the upcoming drama Alert, premiering mid-season on Fox. The super-short teaser video very briefly introduces Caan and Ramirez’s characters along with a “When someone is taken, every second counts” tagline.
In addition to Caan and Ramirez, Alert stars Adeola Role (The Blacklist), Ryan Broussard (Only Murders in the Building), and Graham Verchere (Stargirl). The Blacklist‘s John Eisendrath is the season one showrunner and serves as an executive producer. Additional executive producers include Jamie Foxx, Datari Turner, J.R. Orci, Adam Kane, and Michael Offer.
Alert will premiere on Fox on Sunday, January 8, 2023.
The network released the following description of the new drama:
“Alert is a procedural drama about the Philadelphia Police Department’s Missing Person’s Unit (MPU). Each episode features a heart-pounding, life-or-death search for a missing person that runs alongside police officers Jason Grant (Caan) and his ex-wife Nikki Batista’s (Ramirez) series-long quest to find out the truth about their long-lost son.”
