After weeks of teasing the upcoming 12th season of American Horror Story, FX has finally released a full trailer for AHS: Delicate. The trailer provides our first good look at the relationship between Kim Kardashian and Emma Roberts’ characters, and confirms much of the storyline has to do with Roberts’ character’s desire to get pregnant.
Joining Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian for season 12 are Cara Delevingne, Matt Czuchry, Billie Lourd, Denis O’Hare, Leslie Grossman, and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez. Halley Feiffer serves as writer, showrunner, and executive producer. Series creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Alexis Martin Woodall, Scott Robertson, and John J. Gray also executive produce.
AHS: Delicate will be split into two parts, with part one debuting on September 20, 2023. Part one’s five episodes will air on Wednesdays at 10pm, and part two is expected to premiere in 2024.
Unlike previous seasons, AHS: Delicate is inspired by a book – Danielle Valentine’s recently released novel Delicate Condition. FX offered this short description of the upcoming season:
“In American Horror Story: Delicate, after multiple failed attempts of IVF, actress Anna Victoria Alcott wants nothing more than to start a family. As the buzz around her recent film grows, she fears that something may be targeting her – and her pursuit of motherhood.”
