CR: Ray Mickshaw / FOX.The first teaser for the 11th season of American Idol debuted during the World Series, but you have to wait until January 22, 2012 for the season to actually kick off. Fox used the World Series to launch the publicity campaign for the next season of AI and although the teaser doesn’t really include anything from the next season, it does show the judges – Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, and Steven Tyler – and Ryan Seacrest running around rounding up potential Idol competitors.
