NBC officially announced American Ninja Warrior is returning for season 18. The news isn’t a surprise, given season 17 is ranked among the top five summer entertainment shows and has drawn in 23 million viewers.

The reality competition series also continues to be a big draw on social media.

NBC’s renewal announcement didn’t include any details on when season 18 will premiere. However, the network did confirm Matt Iseman, Akbar Gbajabiamila, and Zuri Hall will return as hosts.

Anyone interested in applying to be a contestant on season 18 can visit ANWcasting.com. Per NBC, the new season is expected to film in Las Vegas this fall.

“From mind-boggling obstacles to heartwarming Ninja stories, Season 18 is set to deliver the goods. If you’ve loved the head-to-head racing in recent seasons of ANW, we’ve got great news. Season 18 of ANW will debut a brand new round featuring a supersized three-lane racecourse,” says NBC. “Three Ninjas will then take the course to face off head-to-head-to-head. The season 18 National Finals will also feature an all-racing format, after which the champion will take home the grand prize of $250,000.”

Arthur Smith, Kent Weed, Anthony Storm, Brian Richardson, and Kristen Stabile serve as executive producers. The series is produced by A. Smith & Co. Productions.
