Amy Poehler Joins Maya Rudolph to Host ‘Baking It’ Season 2

Executive producer Amy Poehler takes on co-hosting duties with fellow executive producer Maya Rudolph for season two of Peacock’s Baking It. The new season of the holiday-themed baking competition series will debut on December 12, 2022 on Peacock, with a special celebrity episode airing on NBC on Dec. 12th at 10pm ET/PT.

The holiday special features Rudolph and Poehler inviting their celebrity friends to “cele-bake” the holidays. The special episode will raise funds for the celebrities’ favorite charities.

Season two of Peacock’s Baking It marks the first time Maya Rudolph and Amy Poehler will co-host a series.

“This season’s coziest cooking competition is Baking It: Season Two! This season has everything: The Grannies, crafty bakes, goofy songs about butter, cash prizes, BFFs, Family, and did we mention butter? And, to make it even more exciting we’ll be hosting this season together!” stated Maya Rudolph and Amy Poehler.

Baking It was created by Amy Poehler and Nicolle Yaron, with Poehler, Yaron, Rudolph, Pip Wells, Kate Arend, and Dave Becky executive producing. The new season will consist of five hour-long episodes in addition to the holiday special.

A new batch of bakers compete in a series of thrilling and hilarious challenges designed by Amy and Maya themselves to test the bakers more than ever for the chance to win some serious money and the adoration of our beloved Baking It judges, the Grandmothers! With Amy joining Maya to co-host this season comes more of Making It’s crafty influence, and this year’s challenges will be filled with explosions, implements of destruction, smashing cakes, and more!
