Barbra Streisand took over The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon as the show’s only guest on September 15, 2014, appearing on the episode – which marked the first time Streisand’s been a guest in 50 years – in support of her new album, Partners. Among the duets featured on the new album are “It Had to Be You” with Michael Buble, “I’d Want It To Be You” with Blake Shelton, and “Love Me Tender” with Elvis Presley, and because Buble’s busy on tour, Shelton’s doing The Voice, and Elvis has permanently left the building, it was up to Jimmy Fallon to step in and handle the medley of tunes alongside Streisand.
