Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan Spark New Feud in Beef Season 2 Trailer

Season one of Netflix’s Beef focused on the aftermath of a road rage incident. The trailer for season two confirms the action moves to a country club, and the “beef” involves two struggling employees versus their wealthy boss.

Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny star as the employees, Austin and Ashley. Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan play the wealthy couple whose rocky marriage sets off the beef. Seoyeon Jang is Eunice, Youn Yuh-jung is Chairwoman Park, Song Kang-Ho is Dr. Kim, William Fichtner is Troy, Mikaela Hoover is Ava, and BM is Woosh. 

The new eight-episode season will premiere on Thursday, April 16, 2026.

Netflix offers this synopsis of season two: “Beef returns with a new cast and a new ‘beef,’ as a Gen-Z couple witnesses an alarming fight between their Millennial boss and his wife. Newly engaged Ashley Miller and Austin Davis, both lower-level staff at a country club, become entangled in the unraveling marriage of their general manager, Joshua Martín, and his wife, Lindsay Crane-Martín.

Through favors and coercion, both couples vie for the approval of the elitist club’s billionaire owner, Chairwoman Park, who struggles to manage her own scandal involving her second husband, Doctor Kim.”

Lee Sung Jin created the series and serves as executive producer and showrunner. Season one stars Steven Yeun and Ali Wong are also involved as executive producers along with season two’s Carey Mulligan, Oscar Isaac, Charles Melton, and Cailee Spaeny. Additional executive producers include Jake Schreier, Anna Moench, Kitao Sakurai, and Ethan Kuperberg.
