Better Call Saul kicks off season one on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at 10pm ET/PT followed by episode two on Monday, February 9th at 10pm. And as we move closer to the show’s premiere AMC has unveiled a lengthy trailer with new footage that shows Saul’s law practice wasn’t always successful.

The Mondays at 10pm timeslot will be the Breaking Bad prequel’s normal timeslot, with season one consisting of 10 episodes starring Bob Odenkirk reprising his role as Saul Goodman. Also back for the prequel is Jonathan Banks as Mike Erhmantraut, with Michael McKean, Rhea Seehorn, Patrick Fabian, and Michael Mando joining the world of the shady Albuquerque lawyer.

The Plot:

Better Call Saul is set six years before Saul Goodman meets Walter White. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny and hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside and often against Jimmy is “fixer” Mike Erhmantraut, a beloved character first introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy’s transformation into a man who puts the criminal in “criminal lawyer.”
