‘Better Call Saul’ Season Two Teaser and Premiere Date

The Breaking Bad prequel Better Call Saul will kick off its second season on February 15, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT on AMC. The Emmy-nominated dramatic series stars Bob Odenkirk and was created by executive producers Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould. Mark Johnson, Melissa Bernstein and Thomas Schnauzd also serve as executive producers.

In addition to Odenkirk as Jimmy McGill, the cast includes Jonathan Banks as Mike Ehrmantraut, Michael McKean as Chuck McGill, Rhea Seehorn as Kim Wexler, Patrick Fabian as Howard Hamlin, and Michael Mando as Nacho Varga.

“Jimmy McGill’s journey takes surprising, left-handed turns in season two of Better Call Saul. He goes to places we’d never, ever expected. As for Mike Ehrmantraut, he’s pulled deeper into a world he was sure he’d left forever,” said Peter Gould, executive producer and showrunner. “We can’t wait to share the next chapter of Better Call Saul with the fans who have embraced the show.”

Season one is the 3rd highest-rated first season in cable history, according to AMC.

The Better Call Saul Plot:

The series follows down-on-his-luck Jimmy McGill (Odenkirk) as he navigates the moral dilemmas of the legal world while trying to step out of his older brother’s shadow and make a name for himself. Season one found Jimmy stumble upon a large class-action lawsuit, which led to a promising job opportunity at a large firm. Having arrived at a fork in the road, will Jimmy take the straight and narrow path with a safe corporate job or will he fall back into his “Slippin’ Jimmy” con-artist ways?
