Netflix has just shared the first official trailer for Between, a new series created by Michael McGowan (Still Mine, One Week) and starring Jennette McCurdy. Season one’s first one-hour episode will premiere on May 21, 2015 at 8:30pm PT followed by a new episode every Thursday for six weeks total. Netflix is breaking the binge-watching trend with this series, airing it using the familiar network TV pattern of one new episode a week.
In addition to McCurdy, Between stars Jesse Carere, Ryan Allen, Shailyn P. Dixon, Justin Kelly, Krystal Nausbaum, Brooke Palsson, Kyle Mac, Jim Watson, Jordan Todosey, and Shailene Garnett.
The Plot:
Between is the story of a town under siege from a mysterious disease that has wiped out everybody except those 21 years old and under. The series explores the power vacuum that results when a government has quarantined a 10-mile diameter area and left the inhabitants to fend for themselves.
