Bryan Cranston’s ‘Breaking Bad’ SAG Award Win – Acceptance Speech

Bryan Cranston was a three-time Screen Actors Guild Awards nominee this year, nominated in the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series, Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, and Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture categories. And Cranston wound up with a terrific 2013 SAG Awards batting average, nabbing awards in two out of three categories.

Winning his first SAG Award for his lead performance in Breaking Bad, Cranston took to the stage and thanked just about everyone: the network, the studio, the cast, crew, writers, directors, cast directors, his fellow actors, and his wife & daughter. “Oh, it is so good to be bad,” said Cranston. “I am so pleased and so honored to receive this award. I’d love to thank our very courageous network, AMC, and [the] supportive studio, Sony Television. Our writers, directors, our beautiful crew in New Mexico who work so hard. Also, Vince Gilligan who wrote…he wrote the role of my career and I am forever grateful to you, sir.”
