CBS Renews All Three ‘NCIS’ Shows for the 2022-2023 Season

NCIS and its two spinoffs NCIS: Hawai’i and NCIS: Los Angeles have been renewed and will return for CBS’s 2022-2023 primetime season. The network officially confirmed the renewals today, guaranteeing NCIS will return for season 20. NCIS: Los Angeles will be back for a 14th season while newbie NCIS: Hawaii‘s impressive ratings earned it a second season order.

NCIS, one of the most popular and enduring series in the world, and fan favorite NCIS: LOS ANGELES have been hugely successful on the CBS schedule for years,” stated Kelly Kahl, president, CBS Entertainment. “With the strong new addition of NCIS: HAWAI`I, we are able to expand the strength of this formidable franchise across our schedule. We couldn’t be more excited to have all three talented casts and creative teams back to bring more compelling NCIS stories to viewers in the U.S. and around the globe.”

NCIS tops the chart as the #1 broadcast series and is pulling in more than 11 million viewers. The cast is led by Sean Murray, Wilmer Valderrama, Brian Dietzen, Diona Reasonover, and Katrina Law. David McCallum, Rocky Carroll and Gary Cole also star. Steven D. Binder, Chas. Floyd Johnson, Mark Horowitz, Mark Harmon, Scott Williams, David North and Donald P. Bellisario executive produce.

NCIS: Los Angeles starring Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J has averaged 7+ million viewers, beating all scripted shows in its Sundays at 10pm time slot. The season 13 cast also includes Linda Hunt, Daniela Ruah, Eric Christian Olsen, Medalion Rahimi, Caleb Castille, and Gerald McRaney.

Vanessa Lachey, Alex Tarrant, and Noah Mills star in the newest entry in the NCIS franchise, NCIS: Hawai’i. Season one airs on Mondays at 10pm and is averaging 8+ million viewers.

The network previously announced renewals of The Amazing Race, Bob ♥ Abishola, CSI: Vegas, Ghosts, The Neighborhood, Secret Celebrity Renovation, Tough as Nails, Young Sheldon, and Survivor. CBS expects to announce additional renewals soon.
