“At the Sekai Taikai, Miyagi-Do faces new challenges and old enemies as they fight to become world champions — can they stay united as internal rivalries bubble back to the surface?” reads Netflix’s part two synopsis.

Speaking with Netflix’s Tudum, William Zabka talked about the three-part final season being comparable to a film trilogy. “The stakes are set at the end of the first five,” said Zabka. “I think if it was just a movie, it’s a great ending that would beg for a sequel, which fortunately is coming in a few months.

Season six part one premiered on July 18, 2024, and part two will stream on November 15th. The finale event will arrive in 2025.

Jon Hurwitz, Josh Heald, and Hayden Schlossberg created the series and serve as writers and executive producers. Series stars William Zabka and Ralph Macchio also executive produce, along with Will Smith, James Lassiter, Caleeb Pinkett, and Susan Ekins.
