‘Colin From Accounts’ is Renewed for Season 2 at Paramount+

Paramount+ wants more of the Australian comedy Colin From Accounts and has picked it up for season two. Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer are onboard to write, star in, and executive produce the second season of the critically acclaimed comedy about a craft beer brewery owner, a student nurse, and the border terrier who brought them together.

“We’re SUPER EXCITED that Paramount+ has the good taste and exquisite judgment to renew us for another season,” said Brammall and Dyer.

Season one premiered in the US in November 2023. Production is currently underway in Australia on season two.

Dyer stars as Ashley and Brammall plays Gordon. The cast also includes Emma Harvie as Megan, Helen Thomson as Lynelle, Genevieve Hegney as Chiara, Michael Logo as Brett, and Tai Hara as James. Dyer, Brammall, Alison Hurbert-Burns, Lana Greenhalgh, Trent O’Donnell, Rob Gibson, and Ian Collie executive produce season two.

Colin From Accounts is centered on Ashley and Gordon, two single(ish), complex humans who are brought together by a nipple flash, a car accident and an injured dog,” reads the Paramount+ synopsis. “The series is about flawed, funny people choosing each other and being brave enough to show their true selves, scars and all, as they navigate life together.”

Season one earned three Australian Logie Awards in the Outstanding Comedy Program, Outstanding Actor, and Outstanding Actress categories. Additional awards include Australia’s Screen Producers Awards for Comedy Program or Series Production of the Year, the Best Comedy, and Equity Ensemble Awards Ensemble Award for Best Comedy.

The first season was also nominated for 10 Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA) Awards.
