‘Cursed Films II’ Trailer: Shudder’s Docuseries Delves Into Movie Curses

Shudder’s popular Cursed Films documentary series returns for a second season of exploring the urban legends and myths surrounding classic horror films. The just-released Cursed Films II trailer teases deep dives into the creepy stories surrounding The Wizard of Oz (1939), Rosemary’s Baby (1968), Stalker (1979), Serpent and the Rainbow (1988), and Cannibal Holocaust (1980).

Cursed Films season one premiered on Shudder in April 2020 and featured bizarre/supernatural events surrounding The Omen, Poltergeist, The Exorcist, The Crow, and Twilight Zone: The Movie.

Season two debuts on Thursday, April 7, 2022 with an episode on The Wizard of Oz. The episode will feature mythbuster Adam Savage and other Oz experts discussing the myths surrounding the making of the musical including the story of a munchkin who supposedly hung himself and Margaret Hamilton’s accident on set.

Jay Cheel wrote and directed Cursed Films II. Cheel also executive produces along with Brian Robertson, Jonas Prupas, and Courtney Dobbins.
