Sarah Jessica Parker (Sex in the City) returns to series television with a starring role in Divorce, a half-hour comedy from Sharon Horgan. HBO’s just released a short (45 seconds) teaser trailer for the relationship comedy, which will debut this fall, and the network also announced the show’s official Facebook page has been launched.
The pilot episode was directed by Jesse Peretz from a script by Sharon Horgan, with Parker, Horgan, Paul Simms, Alison Benson, and Aaron Kaplan executive producing.
The Plot: Sarah Jessica Parker stars as Frances, a woman who suddenly begins to reassess her life and her marriage and finds that making a clean break and a fresh start is harder than she thought. The show also stars Thomas Haden Church, Molly Shannon, Talia Balsam, Tracy Letts, Sterling Jerins, and Charlie Kilgore.
