Fox’s promo for Doc season three teases, “The more she remembers, the more she uncovers.” And the promo shows that much of what Amy’s remembering are brief glimpses of a romantic relationship with Dr. Ben Grant, played by new series regular Blair Underwood.
Season three, episode one will air on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at 9pm ET/PT following the season three premiere of Best Medicine.
Molly Parker leads the series as Dr. Amy Larsen, Omar Metwally stars as Dr. Michael Hamda, Jon Ecker plays Dr. Jake Heller, Amirah Vann is Dr. Gina Walker, Anya Banerjee is Dr. Sonya Maitra, and Patrick Walker is Dr. Theodore “TJ” Coleman. New recurring guest stars include Barrett Carnahan as Graham Barker, Raffa Virago as Nikki De Silva, Cecilia Lee as Ruth Chen, and Kolton Stewart as Kyle Ferguson.
Season three, episode one “Wherefore Art Thou” Plot: On Amy and Sonya’s first day as Co-Chief Resident, they must coach a fresh crop of interns through a mysterious case that seems to defy medical logic. Jake and TJ adjust to new roles within the hospital. Meanwhile, Dr. Ben Grant returns to Westside with a secret plan to reshape the Surgical Department.
