NBC’s plans for a Peter Pan musical with a female, Girls‘ Allison Williams, in the lead has led to – according to Jimmy Kimmel – ABC planning a live musical production of Annie with a male taking on the title role. In the lead will be none other than Grammy nominee Ed Sheeran and in this video from Jimmy Kimmel Live, Sheeran shows just how excited he is to be asked to play Little Orphan Annie.
