‘Elsbeth’ Season 3 Episode 7 Preview: Photos, Promo and Air Date

Two-time Oscar winner Dianne Wiest plays a Reverend Mother on CBS’s Elsbeth season three, episode seven. Lindsey Normington also pops in as a pop star on the Thursday, November 20, 2025 episode, airing at 9pm ET/PT.

“And Then There Were Nuns” Plot: A pop star’s (Normington) purchase of a failing convent turns divine real estate into a murder scene as Elsbeth takes on the Mother of all nuns (Wiest). Meanwhile, Teddy digs into Alec Bloom’s past for a feature he is working on. Peter Sollett directs from a script by Matthew K. Begbie.

Carrie Preston returns to star as the titular character. Wendell Pierce is also back as Captain C.W. Wagner for the series’ third season.
