‘FBI’ Season 5 Episode 1: Photos, Plot, Air Date, and Cast

CBS’s popular drama FBI returns for a fifth season with an episode titled “Hero’s Journey.” Season five episode one was directed by Alex Chapple from a script by Rick Eid and Joe Halpin, and is set to air on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 8pm ET/PT.

Season five stars Missy Peregrym as Special Agent Maggie Bell, Zeeko Zaki as Special Agent Omar Adom “OA” Zidan, Jeremy Sisto as Assistant Special Agent in Charge Jubal Valentine, and Alana De La Garza as Special Agent in Charge Isobel Castille. John Boyd plays Special Agent Stuart Scola and Katherine Renee Turner is Special Agent Tiffany Wallace.

Recurring season five guest stars include Shantel VanSanten as Special Agent Nina Chase, Taylor Anthony Miller as Kelly Moran, Vedette Lim as Elise Taylor, James Chen as Ian Lim, Mara Davi as Samantha Kelton, and Caleb Reese Paul as Tyler Kelton.

“Hero’s Journey” Plot: The team pivots when their sting operation to secure a massive bomb from an illegal broker leads them to discover that the device is already in the wrong hands. Also, Jubal’s promise to be present at his son’s birthday party is put to the test as the case continues to heat up.
