‘Final Moments’ Season 2 Trailer, Episode Details, and Premiere Date

Oxygen’s set an October 1, 2023 premiere date for season two of the true crime series Final Moments. The series, which just dropped a new trailer, focuses on the last movements of murder victims and how retracing victims’ final steps plays into catching killers.

New episodes of the 16-episode second season will air on Sundays at 7pm ET/PT.

Oxygen’s premiere date announcement included details on the first four episodes of season two:

  • “The Red Suitcases” – Sunday, October 1 at 7 p.m. ET/PT
    Laura Johnson, a mother of five, moves in with her boyfriend in Billings, Mont., then suddenly stops communicating with her family. Her son rushes halfway across the country to learn why and finds disturbing clues that explain how she vanished.
  • “A Date with Death” – Sunday, October 8 at 7 p.m. ET/PT
    Michael Sandy, an interior designer who recently moved to New York to find a husband, becomes the victim of a hit-and-run accident on a busy highway. Police discover clues that suggest he was targeted for attack.
  • “Road Trip Mystery” – Sunday, October 15 at 7 p.m. ET/PT
    Julia Jacobson disappears while driving across California on a Labor Day road trip with her beloved pet dog. Police follow her digital footprints to uncover the truth about her final moments, 100 miles off course from her planned destination.
  • “The Missed Bus” – Sunday, October 22 at 7 p.m. ET/PT
    YingYing Zhang, a student at the University of Illinois, misses a campus bus by seconds and then vanishes. As police trace the final moments before she disappeared, they discover a dark secret on campus that takes the case in a shocking direction.

Final Moments Plot:

Each hour-long episode tracks a different investigation in which law enforcement’s efforts to solve a case hinge on dissecting the victim’s final moments, using their last interactions with family and friends, surveillance footage, text messages, and social media posts to build a timeline and find the killer.
