First Look: MTV Shows Off a ‘Finding Carter’ Trailer

MTV’s new drama series Finding Carter premieres on July 8, 2014 at 10pm ET/PT, and the network’s just announced they’ll be making the first 15 minutes of the series available via the MTV App as of June 30th at 11pm ET/PT. MTV’s also just debuted the first trailer for the show starring Kathryn Prescott, Cynthia Watros, Anna Jacoby-Heron, Alexis Denisof, and Zac Pullam.

The cast also includes Milena Govich, Meredith Baxter, Robert Pine, Eddie Matos, Alex Saxon, Jesse Henderson, and Stephen Guarino. Emily Silver created the show and Terri Minsky, Deborah Spera, Maria Grasso, and Alexander Motlagh are on board as executive producers.

The Plot:

Finding Carter is a new unconventional family drama that centers on Carter, a teenage girl who thinks she has the perfect life until one night after a police bust at a high school party she is told that the woman who she believes to be her biological mother actually abducted her as a toddler. Now Carter must return to the family who thought they had lost her. As she navigates brand-new parents, a twin sister, high school, and boys, Carter vows to find Lori before the police capture the only mom she’s ever known and put her behind bars.
