‘Fire Country’ Episode 2 Preview: Cast, Photos, and Plot

Congrats to CBS’s Fire Country starring SEAL Team‘s Max Thieriot. The new drama’s first episode drew in 5.74 million viewers and currently sits as the most-watched new series of the 2022–2023 season. Let’s see if those viewership numbers hold when season one episode two, “The Fresh Prince of Edgewater,” airs on Friday, October 14, 2022 at 9pm ET/PT.

In addition to Thieriot, season one’s regulars include Billy Burke as Vince, Kevin Alejandro as Manny, Diane Farr as Sharon, Stephanie Arcila as Gabriela, Jordan Calloway as Jake, and Jules Latimer as Eve.

“The Fresh Prince of Edgewater” Plot: After Bode requests to be transferred to a different city, his future in Edgewater hangs in the balance. Meanwhile, the crew joins forces to protect the town from a treacherous storm.

W. Tre Davis, Kayla Zander, Tom C Pickett, June B Wilde, Noah Park, and Maya Kooner guest star in episode two.

The Plot:

Fire Country stars Max Thieriot as Bode Donovan, a young convict seeking redemption and a shortened prison sentence by joining a prison release firefighting program in Northern California, where he and other inmates are partnered with elite firefighters to extinguish massive, unpredictable wildfires across the region. It’s a high-risk, high-reward assignment, and the heat is turned up when Bode is assigned to the program in his rural hometown, where he was once a golden all-American son until his troubles began.

Five years ago, Bode burned down everything in his life, leaving town with a big secret. Now he’s back, with the rap sheet of a criminal and the audacity to believe in a chance for redemption with Cal Fire.
