Paramount+’s first teaser for the Tulsa King spinoff, Frisco King, shows Samuel L. Jackson’s Russell Lee Washington acknowledging he operates outside the law and doesn’t really worry about who knows it. The new spinoff, originally titled NOLA King, premieres on December 18, 2026, with new episodes streaming on Fridays.
Asa Germann, Kai Caster, Lilah Pate, and Savanna Gann also star in season one. And Tulsa King‘s Sylvester Stallone pops in as a guest star.
“Frisco King follows seasoned New Orleans gangster Lee Washington as he lands in Frisco, Texas, and discovers a hustler’s playground hidden beneath the polished surface of American suburbia,” reads Paramount+’s synopsis. “Recruiting an ambitious protégé, a loyal driver, and a growing network of eccentric partners, Lee transforms small hustles into big business. But every new score raises the stakes, and as his influence grows, so do the risks, forcing Lee to stay one grift ahead. Frisco may not know it yet, but its new king has arrived.”
Taylor Sheridan created the series and serves as an executive producer along with Sylvester Stallone, Samuel L. Jackson, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Christina Alexandra Voros, Michael Friedman, LaTanya Richardson Jackson, and Keith Cox. Voros and Friedman also directed multiple episodes of the first season.
The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios and 101 Studios.
