No, We’re Not Kidding – There is a ‘Ghost Shark’ Movie

Syfy is following up the campy smash Sharknado with Ghost Shark, a made-for-TV movie that is actually about a shark…that’s a ghost…that eats people. What the heck? Ghost Shark? Seriously, Ghost Shark?!

And if Ghost Shark proves to be a ratings/social media hit, maybe we’ll get Zombie Shark or VampShark. There will be no end to the ‘Shark’ madness.

Ghost Shark will premiere on August 22, 2013 at 9pm ET.

The Plot: In the new Syfy Original Movie Ghost Shark, a great white shark is tortured and killed by a fisherman, then returns from the dead, exacting vengeance on all humans. When Ava’s (Mackenzie Rosman) father is brutally murdered, no one believes that the ghost shark got him – except the crazy lighthouse keeper Finch (Richard Moll). Ava and her friends take the problem into their own hands as they desperately try to survive the bloody wrath of the ghost shark.
