CBS has given early renewal orders to Ghosts, starring Rose McIver and Utkarsh Ambudkar, and Fire Country with Max Thieriot. Ghosts scared up a fourth season order, while the one-hour drama Fire Country is confirmed to return during the 2024-2025 broadcast season for season three.

Ghosts and Fire Country are proven viewer favorites on both broadcast and streaming thanks to exceptional storytelling, talented actors, and an ever-growing fan base,” said Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment. “We are elated to keep the momentum going and bring them back to CBS next season.”

The renewals come as Ghosts has increased its viewership over its second season by 2%. CBS reports season three has been averaging 10.2 million viewers, with new episodes airing on Thursdays at 8:30pm ET/PT.

In addition to McIver as Sam and Ambudkar as Jay, the season three cast includes Brandon Scott Jones as Isaac, Richie Moriarty as Pete, Danielle Pinnock as Alberta, Asher Grodman as Trevor, Román Zaragoza as Sasappis, Sheila Carrasco as Flower, Rebecca Wisocky as Hetty, and Devon Chandler Long as Thorfinn.

Fire Country‘s second season is up 7% over its freshman season, averaging 9.21 million viewers. It’s also doubled its streaming viewership. New season two episodes air on Fridays at 9pm ET/PT.

Series star Max Thieriot, who plays Bode Donovan, co-created the series and serves as executive producer. Billy Burke stars as Vince, Kevin Alejandro is Manny, Diane Farr is Sharon, Stephanie Arcila is Gabriela, Jordan Calloway is Jake, and Jules Latimer plays Eve.
