NBC’s set to launch the new one-hour dramatic series Good Girls on February 26, 2018. The series follows three women – played by Christina Hendricks (Mad Men, Another Period), Retta (Parks and Recreation, Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce), and Mae Whitman (The Duff, Arrested Development) – and how one horrible decision completely changes their lives.
The cast of season one also includes Reno Wilson (Mike & Molly), Manny Montana (Graceland), Lidya Jewett (Hidden Figures), Izzy Stannard (Brad’s Status), and Matthew Lillard (Twin Peaks). Good Girls has Jenna Bans (Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal) on board as writer and executive producer, with Dean Parisot (Justified, Masters of Sex) directing and executive producing. Jeannine Renshaw (Grey’s Anatomy) is also involved as an executive producer.
Good Girls will air on Mondays at 10pm ET/PT.
The Good Girls Plot: When three suburban moms get tired of trying to make ends meet, they decide it’s time to stick up for themselves by robbing the local grocery store. But when the manager catches a glimpse of one of them and the loot is far more than they expected, it doesn’t take long for the three best friends to realize the perfect getaway will be harder than they think. From executive producer Jenna Bans comes this comedy-infused drama that mixes a little Thelma & Louise with a bit of Breaking Bad.
