Gothams not debuting on Fox for a few more months, however, the network wants to keep the show front and center between now and its premiere. The latest promotional video is a 30-second spot focusing on the series’ villains: the Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) and Catwoman (Camren Bicondova).

Gotham will air on Mondays this fall on Fox. The cast is led by Ben McKenzie as Detective James Gordon and features Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, Sean Pertwee as Alfred, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean, David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, and Zabryna Guevara as Captain Sarah Essen.

The Plot: Before there was Batman, there was GOTHAM. Everyone knows the name Commissioner Gordon. He is one of the crime world’s greatest foes, a man whose reputation is synonymous with law and order. But what is known of Gordon’s story and his rise from rookie detective to Police Commissioner? What did it take to navigate the multiple layers of corruption that secretly ruled Gotham City, the spawning ground of the world’s most iconic villains? And what circumstances created them – the larger-than-life personas who would become Catwoman, The Penguin, The Riddler, Two-Face, and The Joker?

Gotham is an origin story of the great DC Comics Super-Villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told.
