‘High Desert’ Trailer: Patricia Arquette Stars in Apple TV+’s New Comedy

Oscar winner Patricia Arquette (Boyhood) stars as a wannabe private detective who has a lengthy history of drug abuse, a messed up personal life, and an unwillingness to do a job any earlier than 11am in the Apple TV+ comedy High Desert. The first trailer for the streaming service’s new dark comedy shows Arquette’s character’s basically a walking, talking trainwreck.

Matt Dillon, Christine Taylor, Weruche Opia, Brad Garrett, Bernadette Peters, Rupert Friend, and Keir O’Donnell also star.

Nancy Fichman, Katie Ford, and Jennifer Hoppe created the series and serve as writers and executive producers. Patricia Arquette and Ben Stiller executive produce, and four-time Emmy Award winner Jay Roach (Game Change, Recount) directs.

The eight-episode half-hour series will premiere on Apple TV+ on May 17, 2023 with the release of the first three episodes. Additional new episodes will premiere on Wednesdays.
