Netflix revealed the premiere date for the third and, unfortunately, final season of Marvel’s Jessica Jones with a super short video announcement. The less than 30 second teaser trailer doesn’t reveal much about the upcoming final season of the series other than that the show will arrive for binge-watching on Friday, June 14, 2019.
Season three will consist of 13 one-hour episodes starring Krysten Ritter in the title role. The cast of the final season also includes Rachael Taylor as Trish, Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix Trilogy) as Jeri Hogarth, Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse (Empire), and Benjamin Walker (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter). Jeremy Bobb (Russian Doll), Sarita Choudhury (Homeland), Tiffany Mack (Hap and Leonard), Jessica Frances Dukes (The Good Wife), Aneesh Sheth (New Amsterdam), and Rebecca DeMornay (The Hand that Rocks the Cradle) also star in the final season of the comic book-inspired series.
Melissa Rosenberg (Dexter) serves as showrunner and executive producer, with Marvel’s Head of Television Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Marvel’s Luke Cage) also executive producing. Marvel’s Jessica Jones is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix.
