Jim Carrey returned to host Saturday Night Live on October 25, 2014, marking his third time handling hosting duties, and among one of the better bits of the night were spoofs of those Lincoln ads featuring True Detective‘s Matthew McConaughey. Carrey was spot-on and, seriously, why is McConaughey starring in those ads after winning an Oscar? Kenan Thompson also shows up as Allstate spokesman Dennis Haysbert who is accidentally taken along for a ride.
