It’s January 4, 2016 and across the planet millions of New Year’s Resolutions have already been broken. Thankfully, John Oliver has released a new video to help his Last Week Tonight viewers deal with the disappointment of shattered resolutions. Oliver believes that what we all need to do is just revise those resolutions into more reasonable expectations. As the oh-so-wise John Oliver explains, “Deep down we all know the key to a successful resolution is not hard work and dedication, it’s managing disappointment – and that’s it.”

Oliver’s new video also reveals the Last Week Tonight with John Oliver return date is set for February 14, 2016.
