Peacock’s going all-in on Kevin Hart on July 6, 2023. The streaming service is celebrating the actor’s birthday with the launch of two of his projects: the standup special Kevin Hart: Reality Check and season three of Hart’s talk show, Hart to Heart.
Hart’s standup special was shot in front of a sold-out crowd in Las Vegas and includes his take on relationships and fame. Peacock describes the one-hour special as providing audiences with genuine humor, candid conversations, and hilarious tall-tales.
Peacock offers this synopsis: “Things are about to get real in this unforgettable night of comedy. Comedian Kevin Hart is as funny as ever as he processes his growing family, fame, mentions on Black Twitter, and more. Hart returns for his first stand-up special in three years with a bang, performing from Resort World in Las Vegas while cracking up a live sold-out crowd through candid conversation. Pure honesty inspires genuine humor in this tell-all comedy special.”
Season two of Hart to Heart featured Hart interviewing celebrity friends Chris Rock, JAY-Z, Mark Wahlberg, Pete Davidson, Tracee Ellis Ross, Tyler Perry, Saweetie, Mike Tyson, Simu Liu, and Seth McFarlane. Season three will feature in-depth interviews with Bill Maher, Dr. Dre, Dwayne Johnson, Issa Rae, J.Cole, John Cena, Mark Cuban, Sofia Vergara, Will Ferrell, and Will Smith.
Both projects are produced by Hartbeat, with Kevin Hart and Jeff Clanagan as executive producers. Dave Becky’s also an executive producer on the standup special and Thai Randolph, Bryan Smiley, Luke Kelly-Clyne, Kevin Healey, and Todd Yasui executive produce Hart to Heart.
