Netflix’s new Kristen Bell and Adam Brody comedy series has an official title and a premiere date. Formerly known as the Untitled Erin Foster Show, the relationship comedy’s new title is Nobody Wants This. And the 10-episode first season will premiere on September 26, 2024.

“This show is based on the only good decision I ever made: falling for a nice Jewish boy. But I realized that being happy is way harder than being miserable (there’s nothing to complain about). So, I created this show based on all the ways that finding the right person can be so hard,” said series creator, co-showrunner, and executive producer Erin Foster. “Nobody Wants This, but we do, and that’s all that matters.”

Joining Kristen Bell and Adam Brody in the half-hour comedy are Emily Arlook, Justine Lupe, Timothy Simons, Stephanie Faracy, and Tovah Feldshuh. Paul Ben-Victor, Michael Hitchcock, Jackie Tohn, Sherry Cola, and Shiloh Bearman also star.

Netflix describes the new series as “a comedy centered on the unlikely relationship between an outspoken, agnostic woman, Joanne (Kristen Bell), and an unconventional rabbi, Noah (Adam Brody).”

Craig DiGregorio is co-showrunner and executive produces along with Steven Levitan, Kristen Bell, Sara Foster, Danielle Stokdyk, Jeff Morton, and Jack Burditt. 3arts’ Oly Obst also serves as an executive producer.

Kristen Bell’s recent credits include The People That We Hate at the Wedding and The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window. Adam Brody was recently seen in American Fiction, River Wild, and Shazam! Fury of the Gods.
